In September 2021 Bob Woodward and John Costa released their book “Peril” that describes in detail how DJT conspired to institute dictatorship in the U.S.A. DJT was guided partially by his attorney, John Eastman who defined the path that the former president would take to carry out a Hitler-like putsch on January 6. The goal was to terrorize Congress into making Trump dictator. This required Pence to throw the decision to the House where Republicans were plotting to make DJT permanent leader. DJT sent his mob to the Capitol Building to intimidate Pence with the gallows, so that the V.P. would follow the plan.
